Box Office

Be a part of the team who gets to be the first point of contact as participants arrive! You’ll be a ticket taking pro in no time and have a fabulous time welcoming folks as they arrive to unSCruz.

Fire Circle

The Fire Fairy Folk will be responsible for working with the Fire Circle Lead to ensure the safety, tool inspection, entry/exit, and spotting of fire dancers (where necessary) during the hours of operation of the unSCruz fire circle.

Fluffers

No! Not THAT kind of fluffer! You’ll get to run food, snacks and beverages to our hardworking unSCruz volunteers and staff who just can’t seem to make it in for regular meal service.

Gate

Be the helpful and welcoming person that gives guidance to our participants entering unSCruz with an RV/Vehicle Pass. You’ll be handing out the What Where When guide and showing folks on the map where they can set up camp.

Hospitality

If you love to nourish folks, the Hospitality team is for you! You’ll get to assist with the vital role of nourishing our hardworking unSCruz staff.

Illuminati

Let your artistic freak flag fly and be a part of the Illuminati team. We like to call them the Cake Decorators of unSCruz! That’s right, once the illuminati comes on scene, the magic really happens.

Leave No Trace

Come join our Moop Fairy squad! This team has the very important role of helping to educate participants about the Leave No Trace principle and guide them in our on-site recycling program.

Off-Playa Info

Do you love engaging with and informing awesome burners? Off-Playa Info is the team for you! You’ll get to help the lost, the confused, and the interested in all things to do with unSCruz. Plus you’ll help be the keeper of the ice and reign over our Lost and Found box!

Placement

Be the welcoming face that helps guide our Theme Camps, Artists and Participants into the event and to their designated areas.

Restoration

Are you a seeker, finder of things, or do you like to leave somewhere you’ve been nice and tidy? If you like being part of the magical crew but don’t want to miss out on the party, or just want to be one of the reasons the Fairgrounds lets us come back year after year? Then you should join the Restoration Team! We start on Monday post-event, so you won’t miss a lick of fun … and you get to make a difference! We are a MOOP oriented Team that gets every last bit of Matter, big and small, if it is Out Of Place, we pick it up and Leave No Trace! Resto’s are the Besto’s !!! 🙂

Sound Control

The job of Sound Control is to monitor the decibel levels of all sound camps. We want to maintain a fun atmosphere, but we have to keep our noise level below the maximum allowed by San Benito Fairgrounds. You will be tasked with monitoring key areas of the Fairgrounds and documenting the decibel levels from those areas. Additionally, if the volume is too high, inform the sound camp and ensure they lower the volume.

Sign Shop

Are you artistic and love brightening up the landscape? Sign shop is the place for you! You’ll get to help create and set up all that helpful signage so  folks can get around with ease.

Volunteer Coordination

Do you enjoy being part of a Do-Acracy? Volunteer Coordination is a fantastic team of folks that facilitate getting the right volunteers to the right teams to make the magic happen.
